Super Mario Run,Watch Angel Has Fallen Online Nintendo's first, true game-game for mobile devices, is coming to Apple's iOS in 151 countries and regions on Dec. 15.

That's on the higher end of App Store game pricing, though it's not unheard of. Square Enix regularly charges more for ports that come to mobile from other hardware.
Nintendo, which has only one other mobile offering -- the free-to-play social gaming app, Miitomo-- can get away with charging a premium for its first smartphone-friendly Mariogame. Now it's on the game to convince players that they're not just paying for a brand.
Super Mario Runembraces the running-and-jumping gameplay that's been a standard for the series since Super Mario Bros. launched, but with a mobile twist. It plays like an endless runner, with Mario constantly running forward and players tapping the screen to make him jump.
