The exhibition, titled Michelangelo: Divine Draftsman & Designer, features three marble sculptures and over 100 drawings by the artist, along with "complementary works" by other artists. It will remain on display through February 12.
The amphibian Michelangelo looks pretty stoked to be there, as he should. It's not every day you get to kick off your morning by admiring priceless works of ancient art.
But we've gotta say – of all the Ninja Turtles, Michelangelo is not the one we would've pegged as an art lover. What, the Met couldn't extend Michelangelo a plus-one so he could bring Donatello along?
