The most powerful caffeine dealer in the world is expected to drop its favorite seasonal beverage on Friday. That's right, the Pumpkin Spice Latte will soon be here to officially welcome fall. Possibly before Labor Day.

Starbucks has been pretty elusive with its launch date for the PSL this year, using the official PSL Twitter account to tease the upcoming release while leaving the media in the dark.

Now, it's possible, yet unlikely, that Starbucks will announce the launch date on Friday to be sometime next week. But it seems like if they're going to make a fuss about it, they'll just launch it.

Additionally, it appears as if some stores already have the juices that turn a regular old latte into a PSL. Someone posted a photo of a fresh stock of PSL juice to the r/Starbucks subreddit on Wednesday with the caption, "It's Starting Soon."

"It's real and it's less than 48 hours away," one Redditor wrote.

"Lol my annoying licensed store already started it. Someone asked this morning and my manager goes 'sure why not' and made me go prepare a pump," wrote another.

The PSL officially launched on Sept. 6 last year, though some people were able to gain early access to the drink starting Sept. 1.

Starbucks did not immediately respond to Mashable's request for comment.
