As anyone who's seen Beauty and Tinto brass Black Angel (2002) aka Senso 45 full moviethe Beast will know, the Beast is meant to be a "hideous" creature to behold.

The Prince he's been transformed from is meant to be the hot one.

In the run-up to the release of the live action Beauty and the Beast, however, that trend seems to be turning on its head.

On Wednesday, Vulturepublished a lengthy think-piece about why the human version of the Beast is always less attractive than the actual Beast version.

It sounds odd -- the Beast is essentially a buffalo-lion hybrid, after all -- but clearly they've tapped into something.

Across Twitter, more and more people have been arguing that the Beast is in fact the more attractive one.
